For the first time at The Club at The Fort Garry Onna Lou will share songs from her previous two albums and songs from her next album to be released in October 2024. The new format with Onna Lou on guitar and voice, percussionist Julian Vidal, and two cellists brings profound beauty to the stage.

Onna Lou came to Winnipeg from Buenos Aires in 2016. She is a singer-songwriter and producer known for her heartfelt lyrics, and unique way of blending traditional folk genres with a contemporary fresh style. With Julian Vidal on vocals and percussion, this duo will take you on a journey through South America.

Después de un año y medio Onna Lou vuelve a Buenos Aires a presentar un nuevo formato en cuarteto con dos cellos. Estará junto a su compañero de siempre Julián Vidal y con la participación especial del dúo Venezolano Cellofilia. Habrá canciones de su primer y segundo disco, y adelantos del próximo álbum, "Quiero verte volar" que saldrá en 2024. PROJECT JAZZ returns to the Exchange District for Culture Days, October 7 + 8

A public art installation project expanded for Culture Days 2022, PROJECT JAZZ features five projected tableaux brought to life by the innovative and creative energy of jazz. Featuring visuals from filmmakers Freya Björg Olafson, Ervin Chartrand, Leigh Lugosi, Jason Wilkins + Scott Hadaller, and Joel Penner, and inspired by music from Will Bonness, Raine Hamilton, Jon Gordon, Apollo Suns, and Onna Lou, Project Jazz uses public outdoor spaces in Winnipeg's historic Exchange District as projection surfaces, creating an immersive multimedia experience. This installation is free to experience as part of Culture Days programming from 7-11pm on October 7 and 8.
